Operating principles for the OCTOPUS immersed tubes:
The premix type burner heats the stored source evenly, on it's entire lenght. Flue gases are evacuated out of the source and enter through the first four arms of the heat exchanger, after which they return in the delimitated space by the source and the main tube of the source on the first level. Here, flue gases are reheated and enter the next level of arms where the heat transfer is made. The gases go through the next level until they are finally colected in the collection chamber to be evacuated. This provides an even heat transfer distributed on the entire surface of the heat exchanger, without thermal degrating of the heated liquid.
For higher heat needs can be achived with immersed tubes which function in waterfall.
Operating principle for the immersed tubes with condensation:
The premix burner with metallic fiber and with modulation evenly heats the source tube. Flue gases pass through the first set of tubes and then through the second set of tubes where condensation is created. This heat exchanger is immersed in the liquid that is intended to be heated. This heat exchanger is immersed in the liquid that is intended to be heated. The regime temperature can be set and mentained through modulation.
Fields of application:
Food products and beverages: preheat, semi-preparation, heating, boiling, melting, cooking, pressure cooking, washing, degreasing, sterilization, disinfection, pasteurization, distillation, frost protection
Slaughtering and meat processing: boiling, blanching, thawing, washing, degreasing, sterilization, disinfection, frost protection
Agriculture, horticulture, fruit growing: washing vegetables and fruit
Plastic, polymers and adhesives: washing, heating paraffin, wax, resin, etc.
Chimicals and petrochimicals: heating up proccessing water and of diverse corosive or noncorosive substances, including viscous fluids, vaporate, distillation, antifreeze protection
Cosmetics, pharmaceuticals: Heating, decoction, degreasing, sterilization, disinfection
Yarn, fiber, textile: washing, whitening, painting
Leather: heating, washing
Surface treatment, painting: washing, pickling, degreasing, phosphate, anodizing, boraxation, passivation etc. by immersion or in tunnel
Asphalt: heating bitumen
Energy: preheating liquid fuel for fluidizeding, heating gas after extraction, heating diathermal fluid
Advantages of using immersed tubes:
Using immersed tubes permits the descentralization of the energetic system, functional autonomy, adaptability, low cost investment, operating costs and low maintenance, simple use (having a fully automated system), safety in exploitation, reduced pollution.
It can be used where overheating the liquids is not permitted (heating acids, pasteurizing milk or other food, heating bitumen etc.)
